In my years of practice, I have witnessed the indifferent attitudes and treatment that victims of sexual assault received in their attempt to seek medical attention.  

To bring a perpetrator to justice requires the cooperation of the victim to recount their ordeal for transcription and to undergo an extensive exam. This physical examination should be performed in accordance with the scientific and legal requirements as authorized by the judicial system and executed by SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners)

By establishing COVERSA (Collection of Victim Evidence Regarding Sexual  Assault), it is my belief that the victim will receive the highest quality of care from concerned professionals who specialize in the collection of forensic evidence and provide the victim with the essential emotional support in a private and comfortable setting.
